Hace pocos días me llegaba una circular del instituto invitándome a participar en un "referendum" sobre si deberían los alumnos vestir uniforme para el próximo curso.

Cual no fue mi sorpresa, cuando al asistir a dicha votación, uno de los cargos directivos del centro convencía a una madre para que votase a favor del uniforme dándole como argumento "electoral" que si hoy las niñas iban vestidas de tal o cual manera. Les aseguro que si hubiera tenido hipo lo hubiese perdido en ese momento. La madre le comentaba a dicho profesor del instituto que estaba bien por lo de las marcas, por eso de "evitar" comparaciones odiosas que dicen que unos pueden más que otros. Sin embargo, el profesor le restaba importancia argumentándole que lo de las marcas estaba bien, pero que lo importante era que las niñas fueran bien vestidas y no "como ahora" van, con "cuatro trapos".

Desde mi humilde punto de vista, puedo decir para empezar que lo de las marcas de prendas me parece bastante demagógico, y para seguir que encuentro aún en la enseñanza de hoy discursos moralizadores y represivos que me dejan como dicen por mi tierra "a dos velas". Sólo diré que creo que no podemos educar a los niños y adolescentes de manera "aséptica", como si vivieran en una burbuja de cristal.....no vaya a ser que se "corrompan" y se nos vuelvan "depresivos". Creo que si un centro decide llevar uniforme tiene que dar unos buenos argumentos y debe contrastar los pros y los contras, pero en ningún momento utilzar un discurso soterrado y represor de hace ya muchos años.

Agradecería opiniones al respecto, ya que creo que es un tema de esos de los de "toda la vida" del que podemos opinar de muchas formas.

de pequeño, el uniforme, (yo nunca he llevado uno) he creído que era para los adinerados, pijos o como quiera que se diga ahora.
Ahora bien, ya estamos estigmatizando a diversos colectivos por el solo hecho de llevar uniforme (tanto ellos a nosotros, por el cual se creen superiores al llevarlos...)
